2022 NBA Trade Tracker Draft: Knicks send Kemba Walker to the Pistons; 76ers acquired De’Anthony Melton

The NBA draft is always a hotbed of trades, but 2022 was especially hectic. There have been plenty of deals made by rival teams looking to get higher picks, and by rebuilding franchises auctioning off lots for future considerations.

Despite plenty of reinforcements, the biggest name change Thursday night was guard Kemba Walker, who moved from the New York Knicks to the Detroit Pistons as New York completed a string of moves. Detroit is expected to buy Walker and he will become a free agent, while the Pistons added the 13th pick via Charlotte in the deal, which they used on mega man Galen Doreen.
