The shooting occurred shortly after midnight when festival-goers got into an altercation and gunfire ensued, according to the OSBI.
OSBI said in a press release that one of the suspects in the shooting turned himself in to the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday afternoon. The charges against the suspect have not yet been announced.
Law enforcement was present at the festival and provided initial assistance to the victims, according to an OSBI statement.
Those affected range in age from 9 to 56, according to OSBI. The agency said earlier that two juveniles were injured, but later corrected the number to one.
All are said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to OSBI.
About 1,500 people were present at the annual Memorial Day in Taft, southeast of Tulsa.
Osaka said she was “stunned” when she saw the commotion.
“I was at the Barclays mall and all of a sudden I heard screaming and saw people running, then we screamed in the presence of an active shooter and had to huddle in a room and shut the doors,” Osaka said on Twitter.
Police said 18 people were injured in the accident and nine were taken to area hospitals.
