(CBS4) Colorado leaders respond to a leaked US Supreme Court draft opinion that Roe v. Wade was dismissed this summer.

The decision would end 50 years of federal protection for abortion rights in the country. But since it’s only a draft, judges can change their vote before a final decision is made.
Colorado legislators approved The law of this legislative session It would protect those rights no matter what happens.
Governor Jared Police Tweet a lengthy statement which reads in part “Colorado remains a country where liberty is respected and where everyone has the ability to live, work, prosper, and raise a family on his own terms.
“In Colorado we will continue to fight for and respect the right to make decisions about your body and your medical health,” he added.
Representative Doug Lamborne, a Republican who represents Colorado’s 5th congressional district, chirp “If Poltico’s reports are accurate, this ruling will be the most important decision in life in decades. I hope and pray that this will be true.”
