Police say a 13-year-old boy saved his youthful brother from drifting into the ocean in a daring ocean rescue.
Employees Sgt. Anthony Bond mentioned an 11-year-old boy was swept away by a purple wave on Tyremouth Seashore, close to Dunedin, round 2.35pm on Saturday.
Sergeant Bond mentioned his older brother swam to his support, then grabbed him and swam ashore.
