A Arapahoe County judge has signed a motion to dismiss all charges against Denver Broncos Governor Jerry Judy after his arrest earlier this month.

NFL network Tom Pellisero Jody noted that he could still face an NFL discipline even though he would not face criminal charges.
“We have been closely monitoring all aspects of this matter, which remains under review for our Personal Conduct Policy,” an NFL spokesperson told Pelissero.
The judge’s decision came after ESPN’s decision Adam Shifter I reported earlier today that Arapahoe County District Attorney John Kellner has moved to dismiss a second-degree criminal tampering charge for promoting domestic violence ahead of Tuesday’s scheduled hearing.

“After reviewing the evidence, I always believed that no crime had been committed and that all charges would be dropped,” Harvey Steinberg, Judy’s attorney, told Shifter.
Judy appeared in court on May 13 and was released on $1,500 personal bail.
Speaking to reporters about the situation, Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown said the dispute between Judy and the woman “only concerned property, and there was no property damage.”
The woman is the mother of daughter Judy, who was one month old at the time of the alleged dispute.

The woman said she called the authorities to “monitor the situation” but that Jodi never had physical contact with her during the dispute, which involved him withholding his wallet, child car seat, and baby papers when she was trying to leave a dorm.
Judy spent one night in prison because the facilitator of extreme violence prevents the person from being released until he or she can appear before a judge under Colorado law.

Denver picked Jody with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The 23-year-old has played in 26 games over the past two seasons.
