A teen suspected of being a subway surfer suffered severe head trauma at rush hour on the 7th train in Queens on Thursday and remained in hospital in a critical condition early Friday, police said.

Police say they believe the boy was on a southbound train and hit his head with an unidentified object as the subway ran to 111th Street and Roosevelt Street Station shortly after 6 p.m.

No other details of the case were immediately available.

Thursday’s incident is the second subway surfing issue to make headlines in the past week and a half.
